B-LINE 6036GP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What does a B-Line panel adapter like the 6036GP actually do on an enclosure?
It adds depth and space around the panel so wire has somewhere to go. The Eaton B-Line 6036GP is a NEMA panel adapter used to increase space around a panel for wire, which is what you reach for when conductors are crowding the gutter or bend radius is tight behind a mounted panel.
2) What size opening does the B-Line 6036GP panel adapter cover?
The 6036GP measures 58 in high, 34 in wide, and 34 in length/depth. Lay those against your enclosure footprint before ordering, because a panel adapter only works if it lines up with the existing panel it is spacing out.
3) Is the B-Line 6036GP adapter UL Listed for use in an electrical installation?
Yes, the 6036GP carries a UL Listed certification. That is the line most institutional and facility specs want to see on enclosure accessories before they will sign off.
4) Does the 6036GP work with Eaton B-Line Premier series enclosures?
It is part of the Eaton B-Line Premier series accessory line, so it is intended to go with Premier series enclosures rather than being a universal adapter. Match the adapter to the Premier enclosure size you already have on the wall.
5) Will a B-Line panel adapter hold up in a washdown or corrosive area?
Construction is stainless steel with a white polyester powder coat finish, so it suits areas where plain painted steel would rust out. The powder coat also matches typical white enclosure finishes rather than fighting them.
6) What part number do I order for this white stainless steel panel adapter?
Order Eaton B-Line model 6036GP. That is the single model designation for this white powder coated stainless steel NEMA panel adapter, so one number covers it.
