1) Does the B-Line ATB-25-300 toggle bolt come with the bolt, or do I order that separately?
Both parts come together. The ATB-25-300 is a two-part assembly, the spring-wing toggle plus a combo round head bolt, so nothing else is needed to make the anchor up. You still supply the drill bit and, if your fixture needs one, a washer.
2) Is this B-Line toggle bolt UL Listed for electrical support work?
The ATB-25-300 toggle bolt is UL Listed. That matters on electrical jobs where the inspector wants the anchoring hardware supporting boxes, strut, or fixtures to carry a listing rather than being generic hardware out of a bin.
3) Can I use a toggle bolt like the B-Line ATB-25-300 in solid concrete?
No. A toggle bolt is a hollow-wall anchor. The wings have to open into an air space behind the material, so it works in drywall, hollow block, and hollow metal deck or panel, not solid concrete or solid masonry. For solid concrete you want a wedge or sleeve anchor instead.
4) Is the B-Line ATB-25-300 toggle bolt suitable for damp or outdoor use?
It is carbon steel, so plan on interior, dry locations. Carbon steel toggles will corrode in wet, exterior, or washdown areas unless they are protected; for those conditions spec a stainless anchor.
5) What drive does the head on this 1/4 inch B-Line toggle bolt take?
It ships with a combo round head bolt, so the head takes either a slotted or a Phillips driver. Handy overhead, where you are holding the toggle from dropping with one hand and can use whichever bit is already in the gun.
6) Can I remove and reuse the ATB-25-300 toggle bolt later?
Not really. Back the bolt out and the toggle wing drops into the wall cavity and is gone. If the fixture is likely to come down and go back up, plan on a fresh anchor each time, or use a threaded anchor type that stays captive in the wall.
