1) Which enclosure size does the B-Line AW3020SP back panel fit?
The AW3020SP back panel is sized for Eaton B-Line 30 inch by 20 inch enclosures. The panel itself measures 27 x 17 inches, so it sits inside the 30 x 20 box with the mounting margin the enclosure needs. If your box is a different size, this panel will not line up on the mounting studs.
2) Is the AW3020SP panel steel or fiberglass?
The panel is stainless steel with a white powder coated finish, even though it is sold as an accessory for fiberglass enclosures. Stainless under the coating is what makes it suitable for the washdown and corrosive areas fiberglass boxes usually go into.
3) Will adding this back panel affect the NEMA 4X rating of my enclosure?
No. The AW3020SP is a NEMA 4X rated, UL Listed accessory, so mounting it inside a 4X fiberglass enclosure does not compromise the rating. It mounts internally and does not breach the enclosure wall or the gasket line.
4) Is the AW3020SP the enclosure itself or just the panel?
Just the panel. The AW3020SP is a back panel accessory only, the flat mounting plate that goes inside a 30 x 20 inch enclosure. The enclosure, door, and mounting hardware for the box are separate items.
