The AWF3024P panel is made for 30 x 24 inch Eaton B-Line fiberglass enclosures. The panel itself measures 27 in height, 21 in width and 21 in length/depth, so it drops inside a 30 x 24 back box rather than matching its outside dimensions. If your enclosure is a different size, you need the panel matched to that box, not this one.

Steel, with a white powder coated finish, even though it is sold as an accessory for fiberglass enclosures. The enclosure body is fiberglass; the mounting panel inside it is powder coated carbon steel, which is what you want for bolting or screwing components down and for a solid ground path back to the panel.

A perforated panel like the AWF3024P comes with a hole pattern already in it, so DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays and small starters can be fastened without drilling and tapping on site. A solid panel gives you a blank steel surface and full freedom of layout, but every mounting hole is field work. Pick perforated when you are mounting standard modular gear, solid when your component footprints are unusual.

It is certified to CSA C22.2, which matters if you are building a control panel for a Canadian jobsite or a specification that calls for CSA-recognized components.

What ships is the white powder coated steel perforated panel sized for a 30 x 24 enclosure. Eaton B-Line fiberglass enclosures locate their panels on studs or bosses molded into the back of the box, so plan on using the hardware that came with the enclosure to secure it.
