NEMA 4X is the rating for this enclosure, which covers outdoor use against windblown dust, rain, hose-directed water, and corrosion. The shell is 304 stainless steel in 12 gauge with a #4 brushed finish, and the door seals against a seamless poured in-place gasket. That combination is what food plants, wastewater sites, and coastal outdoor gear typically call for.

It measures 72 inches high, 48 inches wide, and 24 inches deep. That is a floor-standing footprint, so plan the pad and the door swing clearance for a double door across a 48 inch face before you set it.

Ground mount only. The 724824-4XSFSDDA3PT is a free-standing floor enclosure and ships with no mounting provisions, so there are no wall brackets or mounting feet holes to work from. At 585.1 lb empty it needs a level pad or housekeeping curb and rigging to set it.

In heavy chloride exposure, direct salt spray on the coast, or pool chemical rooms, specifiers usually step up to 316L instead. If your spec calls out 316, this 304 body does not meet it.
