A vertical inside bend carries the tray run up or down while keeping the cables on the inside of the turn, so the fitting bends toward the tray bottom. The Eaton B-Line 6A-12-30VI12 makes that change at a 30 degree angle on a 12 inch radius, for 12 inch wide, 6 inch deep aluminum ladder tray. If your run needs to break the other way, with the cables riding the outside of the turn, you need a vertical outside bend instead, not this part.

Allow for a 14.692 inch length along the run, a 12 inch bend radius, 12 inch width and 6 inch side rail depth. That radius is what governs your clearance off a wall or ceiling obstruction, so lay it out from the radius, not the overall length. The fitting weighs 8.1 lb, light enough for one person to set on the supports.

The fitting is aluminum, which is the usual choice over steel where weight and corrosion resistance matter, including exterior runs and damp process areas. Because it is aluminum, keep the whole run in the same material where you can, mixing aluminum tray with steel hardware in a wet location invites galvanic corrosion at the joints.
