A vertical outside bend carries the tray run up and over an obstruction, turning the tray 90 degrees in the vertical plane with the cables on the outside of the curve. B-Line model 6A-06-90VO48 is the aluminum version for 6 inch wide, 6 inch deep ladder tray, formed on a 48 inch radius. Use a vertical inside bend instead when the run turns the other way and the cables sit on the inside of the curve.

It is a Series 2-5 vertical outside bend. Cable tray fittings only bolt up cleanly to straight sections of the same series, width and depth, so confirm your run is B-Line Series 2 through 5 aluminum ladder tray at 6 inch width and 6 inch loading depth before ordering.

This fitting is aluminum, which is why a 6 inch by 6 inch, 48 inch radius bend weighs only 19.34 lb. That matters for overhead work where crews are lifting fittings to a trapeze, and aluminum is the usual pick for corrosive or wash-down areas. If your spec calls for pre-galvanized or hot-dip steel tray, this is the wrong material.
