1) Is the Eaton B-Line 10104-12CHSC enclosure rated for washdown or just dust and dripping oil?
It's a NEMA 12 enclosure, so it handles falling dirt, circulating dust, lint, and dripping or splashing non-corrosive liquids including coolant and oil. The oil-resistant gasket behind the hinged cover is what seals it. NEMA 12 is not a hosedown rating, so for direct washdown or wet outdoor exposure you need a NEMA 4 or 4X box instead.
