1) What size enclosure does the Eaton B-Line AW4836GP panel fit?
The AW4836GP flanged panel is sized for 48 x 36 inch enclosures. The panel itself measures 44.87 by 32.875 inches, which is the usable mounting area you get inside that box once the panel is bolted in. If your enclosure is a different nominal size, this panel will not line up with the mounting studs.
2) Can this B-Line panel be used in a NEMA 1 indoor electrical enclosure?
Yes. The AW4836GP is rated NEMA 1 and UL Listed, which is the indoor, general purpose classification: protection against contact with enclosed equipment and incidental falling dirt, with no rating for water, oil, or dust ingress. For washdown or outdoor openings you need a NEMA 4 or 4X rated assembly instead.
3) Is the AW4836GP a flanged panel or a flat back panel?
It is a NEMA flanged panel, not a flat sheet. The flange stiffens the panel and sets it off the back wall of the enclosure so wiring and conduit can pass behind mounted components. If you need the panel dead flat against the rear of the box, a flanged panel is the wrong choice.
4) What material and finish is the AW4836GP panel, and will it take a ground bond?
Galvanized steel with a white powder coated, smooth brushed finish. The white face gives contrast for laying out and labeling components. Because the coating is applied over steel, any bonding or grounding point has to be scraped back to bare metal or made with a paint-piercing washer to get a reliable bond.
5) Do I get mounting hardware or an enclosure with the AW4836GP?
This is the panel only, ordered as Eaton B-Line part AW4836GP. The enclosure, the panel mounting studs or clips it fastens to, and any DIN rail, wireway, or terminal blocks you plan to lay out on it are separate line items.
