Pick B22 when the span between hangers is long or the load is heavy, such as multiple runs of conduit or larger pipe on a wide trapeze. The welded 1.62 by 1.62 inch section resists deflection far better than a single-depth 1-5/8 by 13/16 inch channel. For short spans, light EMT, or surface mounting a single device, the single channel is lighter, cheaper to hang and takes up less ceiling space.

TH is the through-hole pattern: both channel backs are punched, so the strut is slotted/holed on the mounting surfaces for bolting to structure or joining runs. If you want a solid, unpunched back for a cleaner run or maximum section strength, you need the plain (no suffix) version of B22 instead.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's green epoxy/polyester paint coating over steel, aimed at corrosive and wash-down environments like water treatment, food processing and chemical areas rather than plain indoor dry use. For direct weather exposure or heavy salt, buyers usually spec hot dip galvanized or stainless instead. Note that any field cutting exposes bare steel at the cut end and should be touched up.

Yes. The 120 inch stick is routinely cut to length in the field with a bandsaw or chop saw for trapeze and pipe support work. Because the finish is a green coating over steel, brush the cut end with a matching touch-up so the exposed edge does not start rusting in a damp area.
