B-LINE B106-32GRN – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What strut channel does the B-Line B106-32GRN two hole z-support fit?
The B106-32GRN z-support is made for Eaton B-Line B32 channel. If your run is a different B-Line profile, this is not the matching fitting, so check the channel stamp before you order.
2) Do I get the bolts and channel nuts with the B106-32GRN z-support?
No. The B106-32GRN ships as the steel z-support fitting only. You supply the channel nuts and hardware to attach it to the B32 strut and the anchors or bolts for the structural side.
3) Is the DURA GREEN finish on this B-Line z-support suitable for damp or corrosive areas?
DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's coated steel finish, applied over the steel body of the B106-32 z-support. It is the option people pick over plain electro-galvanized when the fitting is going somewhere with moisture or wash-down exposure rather than a dry interior ceiling space. The part itself is steel, so if you are in a genuinely aggressive chemical or marine environment, specify a stainless fitting instead.
4) What is a two hole z-support used for on a strut run?
A z-support is an offset bracket: one leg bolts to the structure, the other carries the channel, and the Z shape steps the strut away from the surface. The two hole pattern gives you a fastener at each end for a fixed, non-rotating connection. Electricians and mechanical contractors use them to stand conduit racks or equipment channel off a wall, beam, or deck instead of mounting flush.
5) Does this B-Line strut fitting carry a UL listing or other certification?
The B106-32GRN z-support is an unrated mechanical support fitting, with no certification called out on the part. If your specification requires a listed seismic or fire-rated support assembly, the listing applies to the engineered system, not to an individual z-bracket like this one.
