B-Line Eaton series strut pipe clamps and accessories, .059" height, 2.501" length, 1.25" width, Steel, Includes combination recess hex head machine s

The B2002SS4 is stainless steel, type 304. That is the grade to specify for damp, washdown, coastal, or corrosive runs where a plated carbon steel clamp would rust out. The clamp is a steel part, so it carries the strength you expect from strut hardware while the 304 grade handles the environment.

The screw is included. Each B2002SS4 ships with a combination recess hex head machine screw, so you get the clamp and its fastener together. You still need the strut channel and, where the design calls for it, a channel nut to receive the screw.

Dimensions are 2.501 x 1.25 x .059 inches, with the .059 inch figure being the height, and it weighs .11 lb. That thin profile and small footprint tell you this is a flat strut strap style clamp rather than a heavy two piece pipe clamp body, so map the 2.501 and 1.25 inch figures against your strut width and pipe OD before you commit to a quantity.

Order it as Eaton B-Line B2002SS4. The SS4 suffix is the type 304 stainless version of the B2002 clamp, which is how you tell it apart from the plated and electrogalvanized variants of the same model when you are matching a submittal or a previous order.

Mechanically it will bolt up, but pairing 304 stainless hardware with unprotected or plated carbon steel strut invites galvanic corrosion at the joint, which defeats the reason you bought the stainless part. If you are specifying the SS4 for a corrosive location, run stainless strut and stainless channel nuts with it.

No certification applies to the B2002SS4. It is catalogued as an electrical department support fitting with Certifications listed as Not Applicable, which is normal for strut pipe clamps and accessories. If your spec calls for a listed support component, that requirement has to be met elsewhere in the assembly.
