The screw ships with it. The clamp comes with a pre-assembled combination recess hex head screw, so the fastener is already in the part when it reaches the job, which is what keeps loose hardware out of a lift bucket. You still supply the strut channel itself and, depending on the clamp style, the channel nut if one is not captive in the assembly.

It measures .06 x 2.501 x 1.25 inches and weighs .11 lb per piece. The .11 lb figure is the one to use when you are totalling dead load on a long strut run with dozens of clamps, and the 2.501 inch dimension governs your spacing along the channel.

It is steel with a yellow zinc chromate finish. That plating handles normal indoor mechanical and electrical rooms and moderate humidity, but it is a plated carbon steel part, not stainless or hot-dip galvanized. For direct weather exposure, wash-down areas, or corrosive process spaces, step up to a hot-dip galvanized or stainless strut clamp instead.

No certification is carried on the B2002PAYZN, it is a plain mechanical support component. If your drawings call out a listed or certified hanger assembly, specify a clamp that is called out as such rather than this one.

The fastener is a combination recess hex head screw, so it drives three ways: a hex socket or wrench on the head, or a slotted or Phillips bit in the recess. Handy overhead, where a nut driver is faster than swapping bits.
