1) Can the B-Line 886 SC junction box be used outdoors or in a wash-down area?
No. The 886 SC is a NEMA Type 1 enclosure, which is indoor use only, for protection against incidental contact and falling dirt. It gives no protection against rain, hose-down, or dust ingress. For an exterior wall, a loading dock, or any damp location you need a Type 3R or Type 4 enclosure instead.
2) Does the 886 SC screw cover box come with knockouts, or do I have to punch my own conduit holes?
