It carries a NEMA 4X rating and the body is 316 stainless steel, which is the grade specified where chlorides are present, food and beverage washdown, wastewater, marine and coastal exposure. Sealing comes from a seamless poured in-place gasket, so there is no gasket joint to wick water at a corner. Finish is #4 brushed.

It stands off. The 242010-4XSS63PT is wall mounted using external mounting feet, so the back of the box sits clear of the wall surface. That gap is wanted in a washdown area because it lets water drain behind the box instead of sitting against it, and the fasteners stay outside the sealed volume so you are not drilling the back panel and breaking the 4X rating.
