No. The 101036 G NK is a NEMA 1 wireway, which is indoor, general purpose enclosure protection only. It offers no protection against falling water, dust ingress or corrosion from weather. For an outdoor run or a wet location you need a NEMA 3R or NEMA 4 raintight wireway with a gasketed cover instead of this screw cover design.
2) Does this wireway come with knockouts for conduit entry?
No knockouts. The 101036 G NK is the NK (no knockouts) version, so every conduit entry has to be punched or hole sawed in the field wherever you want it. If you would rather have factory openings on a standard pattern, order the knockout version of the same 10 x 10 x 36 trough rather than this one.
3) What gauge steel is the B-Line 10 x 10 wireway, and is it heavy enough for an industrial plant?
The body is 14 gauge steel, which is the common heavier gauge for commercial and industrial gutter work and resists denting where the run is exposed in a plant or shop. Finish is ANSI 61 gray, the standard gray used on most electrical enclosures, so it matches typical panel and disconnect finishes.
