1) Does the 8836 G NK wireway come with knockouts already punched?
No. The NK in the model designation means no knockouts, so the sides and ends come solid and you punch or drill your own openings where the conduit actually lands. If you want factory knockouts on a set spacing, order the knockout version of the same 8 x 8 x 36 inch body instead.
2) Is this wireway rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. The 8836 G NK is a NEMA 1 enclosure, which is indoor general purpose only, for protection against incidental contact and falling dirt. It has no gasketing and the cover is a screw cover, not a sealed one. For a wet or washdown area you need a NEMA 3R or 4 rated raceway.
3) How does the cover come off on this B-Line wireway, and can I get back into it after the wire is pulled?
The cover is a full screw cover held on with plated screws along the flange. You back the screws out to open the whole side for laying in conductors, then reinstall. It's reopenable, but plan on a driver and a few minutes per section, unlike a hinged cover you can flip open by hand. For frequent access on a panel feed, a hinged cover wireway is easier to live with.
