1) Is the B-Line 8824 G NK wireway rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. It is a NEMA 1 enclosure, which is indoor, general purpose only. It gives protection against incidental contact and falling dirt, not rain, washdown, or dust. For an outdoor run you need a NEMA 3R raintight wireway instead.
2) Does the 8824 wireway come with knockouts for conduit entry?
No knockouts. The G NK designation means no knockouts, so the sides and ends come solid and you punch or hole-saw your own openings wherever your conduit lands. If you would rather have factory knockouts on a fixed pattern, order the knockout version of the same body rather than the NK.
3) How does the cover come off on the B-Line 8824 G NK, and can I get at the conductors after install?
It is a screw cover, held on with plated screws along the length. The whole cover lifts off for pulling and dressing conductors, then screws back down. It is not a hinged or latched cover, so plan on a screwdriver every time you need in, and leave clearance above the run to lift the cover clear.
