No. The 101036 HSNK is a NEMA 1 enclosure, which is indoor, general purpose only, with no gasketing against water or dust. Use it in dry indoor mechanical rooms, electrical rooms and plant interiors. For outdoor runs, washdown areas or anywhere subject to rain or hose spray you need a NEMA 3R or 4 raintight wireway instead.

No knockouts. The 101036 HSNK ships blank, so every conduit entry gets field drilled or punched where your run actually lands. On 14 gauge steel that means a hole saw or a knockout punch set, plus bushings or connectors to protect the conductors at each opening. If you want factory knockouts on set centers, you need the knockout version of the trough rather than the HSNK.

The cover is hinged, so it swings open in place instead of having to be lifted clear of the body, and it is held shut with plated screws. That matters on a wall run where there is no room above the trough to lift a screw cover off. For inspection or adding circuits later, back out the screws and swing it.

It is certified to CSA C22.2, so it is acceptable for Canadian installations as well as US work. If your spec calls out a particular listing on the submittal, that CSA certification is the one carried on this trough.

The finish is ANSI 61 gray, which is the standard gray used on most commercial panelboards, switchboards and enclosures, so a run of these will read the same as the existing lineup rather than standing out. Body and hinged cover are painted steel at 14 gauge.
