2) What does inside opening mean on a 45 degree wireway elbow, and how do I know if I need it instead of an outside opening?
On a 45 degree elbow, the opening is on one of the two faces created by the turn. Inside opening means the access cover and throat are on the short (inside) radius of the bend, so the wireway turns away from the open side. Mount it where the bend angles away from the wall or ceiling you are running along. If your turn goes the other direction, you want the outside opening version of the same 45 degree elbow, because an inside unit cannot simply be flipped and still line up with the trough openings.
3) Is this B-Line elbow rated for a dusty or dripping industrial area?
It's a NEMA 12 fitting, which covers indoor protection against falling dirt, circulating dust, lint, and dripping or splashing non-corrosive liquids. It is not a washdown or outdoor rating, so for wet locations or hosedown you need NEMA 3R or 4/4X wireway instead. It also carries a UL Listing.
4) Does the 44-12LE45B come with the hardware to join it to the wireway sections?
