1) Will the B-Line 44 HSENK end cap fit a 4x4 wireway?
Yes. The Eaton B-Line 44 HSENK is sized for 4 inch by 4 inch wireway, with a stated height of 4 inches and depth of 4 inches. It closes off the open end of a straight section or a fitting so the raceway is sealed at the termination point. It won't fit 6x6 or 8x8 trough; those take their own size end.
2) Is the 44 HSENK wireway end rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. This end cap is a NEMA 1 degree of protection part, which is indoor general purpose only. It gives no protection against rain, dripping water, or washdown. For outdoor or wet runs you need a NEMA 3R rated raintight wireway and matching 3R end, not this one.
3) Does this B-Line wireway end have a knockout for running conduit through it?
No knockout. The 44 HSENK is a blank closure plate, so there is no factory punch for a conduit connector. If the run needs to exit through the end, either field-punch it or use an end with a knockout. As supplied it is meant to dead-end the trough.
4) Is the 44 HSENK UL Listed for use on an inspected commercial job?
