1) Will the B-Line 22-12LCF cutoff fitting fit 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch lay-in wireway?
Yes. The 22-12LCF is built for 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch lay-in wireway, with a stated height of 2.5 inches and width of 2.5 inches, so it matches the cross section of a 2-1/2 square trough run. It will not mate with 4 x 4 or 6 x 6 wireway; those sizes need the matching fitting for their cross section.
2) Is the 22-12LCF rated NEMA 12 like the rest of my wireway run?
It's a NEMA 12 fitting, so it keeps a dust-tight, drip-tight lay-in trough system intact where the run is cut off. It is also UL Listed. Mixing it into a NEMA 1 run is fine mechanically, but the run only performs to the lowest rating in it, so don't count on NEMA 12 protection unless every body and fitting in the run carries it.
3) Will this B-Line fitting match the gray finish on the wireway already installed?
The finish is ANSI 61 gray paint over steel, which is the standard gray B-Line uses across the lay-in wireway line, so it blends with existing ANSI 61 gray trough and fittings. If your installed run is a different color or a plated or stainless finish, expect a visible difference.
4) How much does the 22-12LCF weigh for hanger and support load calculations?
5.65 lb for the fitting itself. Add that to the conductor fill and the trough weight when you size supports around the cutoff point.
