1) Will an Eaton CH three-pole breaker fit a Square D or Siemens load center?
No. The Eaton CH three-pole breaker is built for Type CH loadcenters only, and the CH bus stab is not interchangeable with other manufacturers' panels. It is also not the same as Eaton's BR line. If the panel interior is not labeled Type CH, this is the wrong breaker for it.
2) How much panel space does the Eaton CH 3-pole breaker take up?
It is a Type CH 3/4-inch standard breaker in a three-pole build, so it occupies three 3/4-inch spaces in the loadcenter. Overall the body measures 2.25 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches. Count three consecutive open spaces on the bus before you order.
3) What amperages does the Eaton CH 3-pole 240V breaker come in?
Two ratings: 45 amp (CH345) and 80 amp (CH3080). Both are three-pole, 240V, common trip, with the same 10 kAIC interrupting rating.
