1) Will a Form 5 TB cover fit a Form 7 or Form 8 condulet body?
No. Form designation has to match. The TB outlet cover is a Form 5 part, so it mates with Form 5 Condulet bodies of the same trade size. Put it on a different form and the gasket seat and bolt pattern will not line up.
2) Can I use this malleable iron TB cover in a hazardous or classified area?
No. The Form 5 TB cover is rated for ordinary, non-hazardous locations only. For Class I or Class II classified areas you need an explosionproof enclosure and cover assembly listed for that division, not an ordinary-location condulet cover.
