1) Which trade size Crouse-Hinds Form 5 sheet steel cover do I order for 3/4 inch conduit?
Order the K75S for 3/4 inch. The Form 5 sheet steel cover range runs K50S for 1/2 inch, K75S for 3/4 inch, K100S for 1 inch, K125S covering both 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 inch, K200S for 2 inch, K250S covering 2-1/2 and 3 inch, and K350S covering 3-1/2 and 4 inch. Note that several part numbers span two trade sizes, so one cover stocks two conduit runs.
2) Can I use a Form 5 Condulet cover in a hazardous or classified area?
No. These sheet steel Form 5 covers are rated for ordinary, non-hazardous locations only. If the conduit run passes through a Class I or Class II classified area, you need a cover and body listed for that classification instead, not this one.
