1) Will the Crouse-Hinds Mark 9 LL body thread onto my rigid conduit or does it need EMT fittings?
It is a rigid/IMC threaded body, so it threads directly onto field-threaded rigid metal conduit or IMC with standard NPT conduit thread. EMT is not threaded, so you cannot screw EMT into it. To bring EMT into this body you need an EMT-to-threaded adapter or a compression-to-male-NPT connector at each hub.
2) What trade sizes does the Condulet Mark 9 Type LL come in, and which part number matches my conduit?
Six trade sizes are offered, matched to the conduit size: 1/2 inch is LL19, 3/4 inch is LL29, 1 inch is LL39, 1-1/4 inch is LL49, 1-1/2 inch is LL59, and 2 inch is LL69. Order by the trade size of the conduit the body is threading onto, not by the conductor size.
