1) What trade sizes does the Crouse-Hinds Mark 9 Type LR outlet body come in?

2) Will this Condulet thread onto EMT or PVC conduit?
No. The Mark 9 Type LR is threaded for rigid metal conduit and IMC, both of which take standard NPT conduit thread. EMT is not threaded, so you would need an EMT-to-threaded-rigid coupling or a set-screw/compression connector adapter to land on it. For a PVC run, use a PVC body instead, such as the Kraloy LB25 access fitting, which is a PVC LB with cover and gasket.
3) Can I use this conduit body in a Class I Division 2 or other hazardous location?
No. The Mark 9 Type LR is rated for ordinary, non-hazardous locations only. For a classified area you need an explosionproof body from the hazardous-location Condulet lines, not the Mark 9.
4) Is a NEMA 12 conduit body okay outdoors or in a washdown area?
Not really. NEMA 12 covers dust, falling dirt, and dripping non-corrosive liquids, which suits indoor industrial and manufacturing space. It is not a rating for rain, hose-down, or sleet exposure, so for an exterior wall or a washdown bay specify a body with a weatherproof or watertight rating instead.
5) What is the difference between a Crouse-Hinds Mark 9 LR conduit body and a Kraloy LB25 PVC LB fitting?
They differ in both body shape and material system. The Crouse-Hinds Condulet Mark 9 Type LR is a copper-free aluminum outlet body with an LR shape, threaded for rigid and IMC conduit, and rated NEMA 12 for ordinary/non-hazardous locations. The Kraloy 078146 is an LB25 series 2-1/2 inch PVC LB access fitting supplied with a cover and gasket, so it belongs to a solvent-weld PVC raceway rather than a threaded metal one. Choose the Mark 9 LR when the run is metallic rigid/IMC and the pull point needs to turn in the LR orientation; choose the PVC LB when the raceway is PVC and the back-outlet LB geometry is what the run calls for.
