1) Will a Crouse-Hinds 90 degree squeeze connector work with flexible metal conduit, or do I need a different fitting for MC cable or liquidtight?
These squeeze connectors are built for FMC, flexible metal conduit, and that is the raceway they should be used on. Liquidtight flexible metal conduit needs a liquidtight fitting with a sealing gland instead, and MC cable takes an MC connector. The squeeze body clamps the FMC convolutions with a saddle and screws, so it holds on FMC and nothing else.
2) Can I use these Crouse-Hinds squeeze connectors in a hazardous location or a classified area?
No. The DC series squeeze connectors are rated for ordinary, non-hazardous locations only. A Class I or Class II area needs a fitting listed for that classification, and substituting an ordinary-location connector there fails inspection regardless of how well it is made.
3) Are these connectors insulated throat, and does that matter for my wire?
They're non-insulated. The zinc die-cast body carries grounding continuity straight through the fitting, which is what you want for the equipment ground path on FMC.
