Two sizes, 3/4 inch (PARC75HD) and 1 inch (PARC100HD). Order by the conduit trade size, not by a measured outside diameter, and the clamp has to match the run exactly. A 3/4 inch clamp will not close on 1 inch rigid, and a 1 inch clamp on 3/4 inch conduit leaves the pipe loose enough to move in the saddle.
2) Can I use this Crouse-Hinds conduit clamp in a hazardous or classified area?
No. The parallel clamp is rated for ordinary, non-hazardous locations. If you are supporting conduit inside a Class I, II, or III classified area, the support hardware needs to be specified for that classification, so this is not the part to spec on that drawing.
3) What does a parallel type conduit clamp actually do differently from a regular one-hole strap?
A parallel clamp holds the conduit running parallel to the mounting member rather than clamping it flat against a wall the way a one-hole strap does. That is what you want when you are racking several pipes off the same beam, channel, or hanger and need them running in line with the support, evenly spaced. For a single pipe laid flat on a wall or deck, a plain one-hole or two-hole strap is the simpler part.
4) Is an electrogalvanized iron conduit clamp OK outdoors or in a damp area?
Electrogalvanized iron is a light zinc coating meant for indoor and general construction use, not for sustained wet, coastal, or chemically aggressive exposure. On a covered loading dock or an unheated warehouse it is fine. For a roof, a wash-down area, or a corrosive process room, step up to hot dip galvanized or stainless support hardware in the same trade size.

7) Can I mix these clamps with the galvanized rigid conduit already installed in my building?

Electrogalvanized iron clamps on galvanized rigid or IMC are compatible metals for indoor work, so adding to or extending an existing run in 3/4 inch or 1 inch is straightforward. Keep the whole run on the same conduit type; the clamp is sized to rigid and IMC dimensions and will not carry EMT sections spliced into the same rack.
