Two choices cover 500 kcmil. Kit 1MPLK3 takes (2) 250-500 kcmil conductors per phase, and kit 1MPLK1 takes (1) #6-600 kcmil, so a single 500 kcmil cable lands there. If you are pulling two 500s per phase, 1MPLK3 is the one.
2) Do these Eaton main lugs work on both 400A and 600A bus?
Yes. The Eaton main lug kits are field-installed lugs for use with a 400 or 600 A main bus, so the same kit family covers both ratings. Pick the kit by the conductor size and number of cables per phase you are landing, not by the bus rating.
3) I need to land three parallel conductors per phase. Which lug kit handles that?
Kit 1MPLK4 is the three-conductor option, accepting (3) #4-300 kcmil per phase. If your parallel run is larger than 300 kcmil, you would need to drop to two cables per phase and use 1MPLK3 at (2) 250-500 kcmil instead.

They are field-installed lugs, so they mount on site rather than being factory-fitted. That lets you set the termination type after the feeder size is finalized, or convert an existing 400 or 600 A main bus to a different conductor arrangement without replacing the bus.
