The HLD2600 L-frame breaker is rated 65 kAIC at 480 Vac and 100 kAIC at 240 Vac. If your available fault current at the panel exceeds those numbers you need a higher interrupting class, but 65 kAIC at 480 covers most commercial service entrance and distribution work without series rating.
2) Can I use the HLD2600 on a 600 volt system, and does it work on DC?
