1) Does the Emtek 1363 multi point trim include the multi point lock body?
No. The Emtek 1363 is trim only, so you get the interior and exterior plates and the handles. The multi point mortise lock box has to be sourced separately, and the gearbox already in your patio door has to match Door Configuration #3 for this trim to line up.
2) What is Door Configuration #3 on an Emtek multi point trim, and how do I know my door uses it?
Configuration #3 describes the layout of the holes in the door and the trim: on the 1363 the cylinder sits above the handle, with 4-1/8 inch center-to-center between the cylinder and the lever spindle. Measure your existing exterior plate from the key cylinder hole to the lever hole. If that measurement is 4-1/8 inches with the cylinder above the lever, you are on configuration #3.
3) If the Emtek 1363 is non-keyed, how does the door lock?
The 1363 is the non-keyed version: there is no key cylinder in the plates, and the inside gets an American style thumbturn that throws and retracts the multi point lock. That makes it the right pick for an inactive or interior-only patio leaf, or a door where you do not want an exterior key. If you need key access from outside, you need the keyed version of this trim instead.
4) What do I have to specify when ordering the Emtek 1363?
Three things beyond the finish. Lever style, chosen from Aurora, Bryce, Cimarron, Cody, Durango, Lariat, Mariposa, Montrose, Teton or Yuma. Handing, right or left. And your door thickness, entered as a text value. Finish is Flat Black Bronze, Medium Bronze or Tumbled White Bronze.
5) Does handing matter on multi point lock trim, and how do I determine it?
It does, and handing is a required selection on the 1363 (right hand or left hand). Stand outside the door: if the hinges are on your right, it is right hand. Order the wrong hand and the lever and thumbturn orientation will be off on a multi point trim set.
6) Will the plates cover the old holes on a 2 by 10 inch patio door plate?
The 1363 plates are rectangular and measure 2 x 10 inches, in sandcast bronze. Compare that footprint to the trim coming off the door; anything with a larger existing plate outline will leave marks or unfilled screw holes showing.
7) Can I mix and match Emtek sandcast bronze levers with this trim?
Yes. The 1363 accepts any Emtek Sandcast Bronze lever, so you can match the levers already used on interior doors in the house. Ten lever styles are offered with the set, from Aurora through Yuma.

The plate geometry follows configuration #3, which places the cylinder location above the handle at 4-1/8 inch center-to-center, so the trim covers the same door prep as a keyed config #3 door. On the non-keyed 1363 the inside thumbturn does the locking rather than a cylinder.
10) Will these levers sag over time like older patio door handles?
Each Emtek multi point trim set now ships with a spring assist that returns the lever to neutral, which is what prevents the drooping handle you see on older patio sets.
