For a school, hospital or office corridor where the opening has to take institutional traffic, a residential tubular set is the wrong specification and you want a commercial cylindrical or mortise lock instead.

No. The 5007 is non-keyed and has no cylinder in it at all, so there is nothing to key and it cannot join a keyed-alike set. If you need an entry or a keyed function on that opening, this is the wrong part. A dummy is decorative trim on a door that does not lock.

On a pair of French doors, the usual split is a passage or privacy set on the active leaf and a dummy like the 5007 on the inactive leaf, which is held shut by flush bolts or a catch.
