The Concord plate measures 1-1/2 by 11 inches, which is what makes it a narrow trim set. That 1-1/2 inch width is the number to check against your stile, common on french and glass panel doors where a full rosette or standard escutcheon runs past the glass stop. Measure the flat of the stile before ordering.
4) Do I have to specify handing on an Emtek 7043 dummy?
Handing is required if you pick a lever. Levers are handed left or right so the return points toward the hinge side correctly. Knobs are symmetrical, so handing is not a factor there. Decide which side of the door the trim mounts on and which way the door swings before you order.
