So a finished bed or bath door is two line items: the 828TP thumbturn bolt, plus the passage knob or lever set that actually retracts the latch and lets you work the door. 2) What door prep does the Emtek 828TP thumbturn privacy bolt need?
A 2-1/8 inch cross bore, a 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 inch backset, and a door 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches thick.
