1) Will the Falcon W501 latch into the strike that is already in my frame?
Depends on what is cut into your jamb. The W501 latch throws 1/2 inch and the standard strike is the ANSI 1-1/4 x 4-7/8 inch curved lip, which is what most commercial hollow metal frames are already prepped for. If your frame has a smaller residential-style cutout, order the lock with the 1-1/8 x 2-3/4 square corner T-strike, or the 1-5/8 x 2-1/4 full lip strike in either radius or square corner, rather than re-prepping the frame.
2) Is the Falcon W501 approved for a fire rated door?

The conventional cylinder is 6-pin, pinned in 5 chambers, and two nickel silver keys come with each lock.
5) Can I order the Falcon W501 without a cylinder so I can use my own SFIC cores?
