1) What size recessed housings does the HALO LTE baffle LED trim fit?
The HALO LTE baffle LED trim comes in two sizes: a 4 inch version (LTE46930-12PK) and a version that covers both 5 inch and 6 inch openings (LTE566930-12PK). If your ceiling has a mix of 5 and 6 inch cans, the 5"/6" part handles both, so you order one item instead of two. Match the size to the housing aperture you already have in the ceiling before you order twelve of the wrong one.
2) Will HALO LTE LED trims work on my existing dimmer switches?
These trims dim by phase cut down to 10 percent, which is the same method standard forward and reverse phase wall dimmers use. That means an existing incandescent-era dimmer can work, but LED loads draw far less current than the lamps those dimmers were sized for, so a dimmer rated for LED loads is what gives you smooth control to the bottom of the range. Twelve trims on one circuit is still a small load. If you want the full 10 percent low end, specify an LED-rated phase cut dimmer.
3) Will the HALO LTE trim run on 277V in a commercial building?
The LTE trim carries a 120-277V rating, so it works on the 277V branch circuits common in commercial and institutional buildings as well as standard 120V residential wiring. That matters if you are standardizing one trim across a facility that has both service types. Note that the dimming is phase cut, so your 277V dimming controls need to be phase cut compatible at that voltage.
4) How bright is the HALO 600 lumen LED recessed trim, and how many do I need per room?
Each trim puts out 600 lumens at 3000K. That is a general ambient level per fixture, not an accent or a high-output downlight, so in an office or living space you are typically spacing several across the ceiling rather than relying on one or two. A 12-pack gives 7,200 lumens total across the set. For task-heavy areas plan tighter spacing; for corridors and lobbies you can spread them further apart.
5) Is 3000K the right color temperature to match the rest of my building?
3000K is warm white, the tone people read as residential or hospitality warmth rather than the cooler, whiter 4000K you see in offices and back-of-house. If your other fixtures are 2700K these will look slightly crisper; if they are 4000K these will look noticeably warmer and the mismatch shows on a shared ceiling.
