Metallics PFMD2201200 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the PFMD2201200 Hangermate driver meant for steel or for concrete and wood bases?
Steel. The PFMD2201200 is the steel version of the Hangermate driver, so if you're hanging off concrete slab, wood joists, or metal deck fill, you need the driver matched to that base material rather than this one.
2) What is the Metallics PFMD2201200 Hangermate driver used for?
It's the installation driver for Hangermate anchors into steel, set up for both vertical and horizontal applications. The driver is the tool that seats the hanger fastener; the anchors themselves are ordered separately. It ships as a single piece.
3) Can one Hangermate steel driver handle both overhead and sidewall installs?
Yes, the steel Hangermate driver is listed for vertical and horizontal use, so the same tool works for hanging rod or strut off the underside of steel overhead and off a vertical steel face for sidewall runs.
4) What part number do I order for the Metallics steel Hangermate driver?
Order Metallics part number PFMD2201200. That is the manufacturer part number for the steel vertical/horizontal Hangermate driver, sold one per order.
