OATEY 45333T – Frequently Asked Questions

1) How many tubs of towels come in the Oatey Hercules For Hands 45333T display?
The 45333T order is a point-of-purchase display holding 30 tubs of Hercules For Hands pre-moistened towels, shipped in a corrugated branded tower meant to sit on a counter. Each towel measures 12 x 10 inches. If you only need a single tub for a truck or a job box, this is not the right order code, it is the full counter-display pack of 30.
2) Will these plumber's hand towels take off PVC cement and flux, or just grease?
Hercules For Hands towels soften and remove plastic pipe cements, and also take off flux, sealants, caulk, adhesives, tar, industrial paints, epoxy and polyester resin, lubricants, printers inks, grease, oil and grime. That is the range that matters on a plumbing or mechanical job where cement and flux set up fast on skin.
3) Are these hand wipes safe to use on finished surfaces like aluminum or laminate countertops?
Yes. Besides hands, the towels are rated for cleaning steel, aluminum, laminates, wood and other surfaces, and the material will not leave scratches or marks. Useful on a punch list where a tech is wiping cement off a cabinet face or a stainless fixture after a connection.
4) Do these shop towels contain solvents that will dry out or irritate crews' hands?
No harsh solvents in the formula. The towel material is non-abrasive so it does not irritate skin, and aloe vera, vitamin E and lanolin moisturizers are built in. That is the reason facilities and MRO buyers put these at wash stations instead of solvent rags for daily use.
5) Is the Oatey 45333T display light enough to stock on a counter shelf?
Product weight is listed at 1.327 and volume at 0.142, so the tower is a light, low-bulk counter unit rather than a pallet item. Distributors and supply counters set it at the register as a branded impulse display.
