1) Will the HES 4501-1 fit a strike other than the HES 4500 Series?
No. The 4501-1 is cut for the 4500 Series strike lip and nothing else. If you're extending the lip on a different HES strike family, order the extension made for that family; a 4500 extension won't line up on it.
2) Is the HES 4501-1 lip extension rated for commercial door use?
