1) Which Houzer sinks does the BG-4400 bottom grid actually fit?
The BG-4400 Wirecraft grid is cut for four Houzer sink models only: NVS-2600, STL-3600, PGS-3122 and BSG-3018. It is not a universal grid, so if your basin is a different Houzer model or another brand, this one will sit wrong or not drop in at all.
2) What size is the Houzer BG-4400 sink grid?
It measures 24 x 13-3/4 x 1 inches. Use those numbers against the inside bottom of your basin: a grid needs a little clearance on all sides to sit flat on its feet, so a basin whose interior bottom is narrower than 13-3/4 inches in either direction won't take it.
3) Will a bottom grid keep a stainless sink from getting scratched and quiet it down?
That is the job it does.
