1) What wire size does the Sta-Kon RA18-110F female disconnect take?
The RA18-110F is sized for 22 to 18 AWG stranded or solid wire. That is the small-gauge range you see on control wiring, thermostat and low-voltage appliance leads. Anything heavier than 18 AWG will not crimp properly in this barrel, so step up to a 16-14 AWG disconnect for those conductors.
