KSP COMB-207 Series - SFIC 7-Pin Core

The COMB-207 is a 7-pin small format interchangeable core (SFIC), so it drops into hardware prepped for a standard SFIC figure-8 core housing: knobs, levers, mortise housings, padlocks, cabinet locks, and cam locks that take a small format core. It swaps in and out with a control key, no disassembly of the lock. If your existing cores are large format (Best-style LFIC or a manufacturer's proprietary full-size core), the COMB-207 will not fit that prep.

Two keyways, J and K. Both are offered across the full keying range, so a facility standardized on either one can order every keying option in that keyway. If your building is already keyed to a different SFIC keyway, the COMB-207 will not accept those keys, and the two keyways will not interchange with each other either.

Order the same code across several cores when you want a group of doors keyed alike, for example a set of mechanical rooms or a tenant's front and back door. Six codes is the ceiling on distinct keys here, so a building needing more unique keys per keyway will need a custom keying order rather than these stock combinations.

Yes. A master key is available as its own option in both the J and K keyway, and the 1AA through 6AA change keys are the individual door keys under it. That gives a property manager or maintenance lead one key for the whole set while each tenant or room keeps a key that only works their own door. Keep in mind the master and the change keys have to share a keyway, so do not mix J and K cores inside the same master keyed group.

The Corbin Russwin 8000-CT6 BLUE is a blue construction core built for that phase: crews use it through the build, then you pull it and drop in your permanent cores at turnover without touching the locks. Note it is a 6-pin core, so it is a jobsite placeholder here rather than part of a 7-pin permanent system.

When a tenant turns over or a key goes missing, you use the control key to pull the old core and seat a new one in seconds, at the door, with no screwdriver and no lock removal. For a property manager running a portfolio, that means rekeying is a stocking decision rather than a locksmith call. Stock a few spare cores in your keyway, J or K, and you can turn an opening the same day.

No. The COMB-207 is the core only, the cylinder that carries the pins and the keyway. It goes into hardware you already have or are buying separately: an SFIC-prepped lever, knob, mortise housing, rim housing, or padlock. If the existing hardware is not SFIC prepped, a core alone will not work, and you need the housing or the SFIC-prepped lockset as well.
