Milbank Current Transformer Cabinet Type 3R

Type 3R is the rainproof outdoor enclosure designation, and it is what these Milbank CT cabinets are built to. That covers exterior wall mounting at the service entrance where the cabinet sees rain and sleet, which is the normal location for a utility metering CT can. It is not a washdown or dust-tight rating, so an interior process area with hosedown or heavy airborne dust needs a different enclosure type.
