That is the only entry it is built for. The U5707-O-200S is an underground cable entry unit on a pedestal base, direct bury, with a plain top and no hub opening. If your service drop comes in overhead, this is the wrong unit and you need an overhead-entry socket with a hub or a hub closing plate opening in the top.
2) What size conductors can I land in the Milbank 200A pedestal meter socket, line and load side?
Line side terminals take 6 AWG through 350 kcmil, load side takes 1 AWG through 300 kcmil, all lay-in type so you drop the conductor in rather than fishing it through a barrel. That line side range covers the usual 4/0 aluminum and 2/0 copper 200 amp service laterals with room above them. Equipment grounding lands on a 4 barrel ground lug.
