1) What connections does the Nibco 881 P-Trap have on each end?

No. The 881 is a DWV fitting, built for drain, waste and vent service only. It relies on a water seal to block sewer gas from coming back into the building, so it belongs in a fixture drain line, never in a pressurized supply line.
5) Do I need anything else to install the Nibco 881 P-Trap?
Plan on the slip joint nut and washer for the fixture side, plus solder, flux and a fitting brush for the sweat end. Since the C end is soldered, make that joint before you set the slip joint so you are not heating a washer. Nibco publishes copper fittings installation instructions covering the soldering procedure.
6) P-trap or S-trap for a fixture drain?
The 881 is a P-trap, which is what current plumbing codes accept: the outlet turns horizontal into a vented drain arm. S-traps, which run straight down, are prohibited in most jurisdictions because the falling waste can siphon the water seal out and let sewer gas through. If you are replacing an old S-trap, this is the shape you are converting to.
