It takes one standard medium (E26) base lamp, A19 shape, up to 60W at 120V. No bulb is supplied, so order lamps separately. Since the socket is a standard E26 medium base, you can put an LED A19 in it rather than incandescent if you want the wattage down, as long as you stay within the 60W maximum.

Dry locations only, and indoor only. That rules out covered porches and any spot that sees moisture or spray, including directly over a tub or shower and most sink locations where the fixture could get damp. For a bath or a porch you need a damp or wet rated pendant instead. Dry interior use over an island, a counter, a hallway, or a bedside is what this one is rated for.

One configuration: Brushed Nickel hardware with a single white opal glass shade. The body is steel. There is one shade and one glass piece, so if you are hanging a row over an island they will all match without specifying anything further.

The Polaris 60-615 is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian safety requirements for a 120V dry location indoor luminaire. It is also RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead on this fixture, which matters if your facility tracks Prop 65 warnings on purchased goods.

The fixture weighs 3.45 lbs, which is well inside the load any listed ceiling outlet box and standard fixture strap will carry, so no special support or fan-rated box is needed. It is a rod-mount ceiling pendant, so you do need a box located where you want the drop, not a track or a swag hook.
