NUVO Lighting 60-7886 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) What bulbs does the NUVO Cordello 60-7886 island pendant take, and are they included?
Six candelabra base (E12) lamps, Type B shape, rated up to 60W each on 120V. Bulbs are not supplied, so order them with the fixture. Technology is incandescent, and dimming depends entirely on the lamp you choose, so if you want it on a dimmer, pick dimmable candelabra lamps.
    2) Can the Cordello 60-7886 pendant be used over an outdoor kitchen or a covered patio?
No. It is a dry location rated, indoor only fixture. Covered patios, porches and outdoor kitchens need at least a damp rated fixture, and anything exposed to driven rain needs wet rated. Bathrooms over a tub or shower are out as well.
    3) Is the NUVO Cordello island pendant safety listed for commercial install?
It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 chemical declaration for lead, which matters if you are specifying into a California project.
    4) What hardware comes with the Cordello 6 light pendant, and do I need anything else?
In the box: two 6 inch rods, two 12 inch rods, and 12 feet of wire (144 inches). It is a ceiling mount fixture, so you supply the junction box and six E12 candelabra lamps. At 8.75 lbs it is light enough for a standard listed ceiling box rated for luminaire support.
    5) What finish and glass does the Cordello 60-7886 have, and how many finish options are there?
One configuration: Vintage Brass finish on a steel body with six etched white opal glass shades. The opal glass diffuses the candelabra lamps rather than leaving them exposed, which keeps glare down over a work surface. Style is traditional.
