    The Lafayette 60-7906 carries a damp location rating and is listed for indoor use, so a bathroom ceiling is fine as long as it is not in the direct spray of a shower or tub. Damp rated covers steam and humidity, not direct water contact. For a wet location you need a wet rated fixture instead.
