NUVO Lighting 62-1661 7in, LED Disk Light, 5000K, 6 Unit Contractor Pack, White Finish

The NUVO 62-1661 ships as a 6 unit contractor pack of 7 inch LED disk lights, all in the white finish with a frosted lens. One pack covers six ceiling locations, which is why it gets specified for multi-family turns and corridor retrofits where every opening should match.

It carries a wet location rating, so it is suitable for damp and wet areas like shower ceilings and covered soffits. One caution: the fixture is classified for indoor use, so keep it under cover rather than fully exposed outdoors.

5000K is daylight white, a crisp blue-white that reads as task lighting. It suits garages, laundry rooms, basements, stairwells, back-of-house and work areas. For bedrooms and living rooms most property managers specify 3000K or 2700K instead. Note the color temperature is fixed on the 62-1661, it is not a CCT selectable fixture, so pick the Kelvin at the order stage.

The fixture is dimmable and runs on 120V line voltage with an integrated LED driver, so it wires to a standard residential or commercial circuit. Because the LED is integrated rather than lamped, pair it with an LED-rated dimmer; older incandescent-only dimmers can flicker or buzz at low output with a 12W load.

Each fixture delivers 970 lumens at 12W. That is roughly equivalent to a 75 watt incandescent, so a single unit handles a hallway, closet or small bath, and two to three spaced out cover a bedroom or a small office. The 6 pack gives you enough for a typical unit turn.

No separate lamps to order. The LED is integrated into the fixture, so there is nothing to stock and nothing to relamp. Rated life is 50,000 hours, which is the reason these go into stairwells and high ceilings where a ladder call costs more than the fixture.

CRI is 90, which is high-CRI territory and well above the 80 CRI most budget LED disks run. At 90 CRI with a 5000K daylight tone, colors and skin tones hold up, so it works for exam rooms, back-of-house retail, inspection areas and anywhere crews need to judge color or detail.

Yes, the fixture is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. For procurement files, note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead.

The base is steel with a white painted finish and a frosted diffuser. Each fixture weighs 0.79 lbs, light enough to hang off a standard ceiling box with no extra bracing.
